Family Law

Most family law disputes are related to divorce, parental responsibility and matrimonial property. Another tenet of family law litigation concerns establishing or contesting of the parent-child relationship.

Special questions are generated when the spouses have a link to more than one countries (for instance they lack a common nationality or they live in different countries or their property is located in more than one countries). In these cases Greek courts may have to resort to European legislation on international jurisdiction and/or applicable law.

We are very familiar with all these questions. Very often child abduction cases produce similar issues in the context of fierce legal confrontation.
